New Delhi: A 30-year-old woman was severely injured after she fell allegedly from the ninth floor of a highrise on Tuesday, said police. The incident took place in Crossings Republik Township in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad and the video of the same went viral.
In the video, the woman’s husband can be seen holding on to her while she’s hanging from the balcony, seconds later, the woman fell.
In an interview with a leading daily, Mahavir Singh, SHO of Vijay Nagar police station said, “The man and woman in the video are a married couple. We have come to know that the woman had slipped from the balcony and the man held her hand in an attempt to save her.”
“We have not received any complaint so far about the incident. The woman is admitted to a hospital in Noida and presently under treatment. Once we receive a complaint, we will investigate,” the SHO added.
According to the reports, it is being told that the woman has been admitted to a hospital in Noida and condition of the woman is said to be critical.
Bhopal: As the issue of reservation quota for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) continues to ripple politics in Madhya Pradesh, the Shivraj Chouhan government is planning to move the Supreme Court on the matter.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court, which is currently hearing close to three dozen petitions on the proposed increase in OBC quota from 14% to 27%, on July 13 refused to allow the hike, and instructed the state government to continue with recruitments using 14% OBC reservation.
On Wednesday evening, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had convened a meeting of BJP OBC cell and wherein it was decided that the state government will approach the SC on the quota issue.
Besides, the meeting also discussed proposed hike in OBC creamy layer from existing Rs 8 lakh annual limit to Rs 12 lakh per annum, a senior leader of the BJP said.
MLAs, MPS and leaders of OBC cell took part in the meeting and future strategy of the cell besides discussing HC’s verdict of keeping the OBC quota limited at 14% for the time being, Bhagat Singh Kushwah, the BJP OBC cell state head said.
The state government will pursue this matter as per set norms, he added.
On Tuesday, the HC had allowed the state government to carry on with recruitments but with 14% OBC quota norm and keep 13% reservation benefits in the reserve until final orders.
Following a dispute in OBC quota, which was hiked by then CM Kamal Nath to 27%, large numbers of recruitments have been stalled as the HC is yet to dispose of the matter. The state government on Tuesday had sought HC guidelines on recruitment of medical officers and others ahead of possible covid19 third wave.
The Congress has been mounting pressure on the BJP government for ensuring that OBCs benefit from the 27% quota.

इस मौके पर गूगल और अल्फाबेट के सीईओ सुंदर पिचाई ने कहा कि गूगल क्लाउड सभी आकार की कंपनियों को विश्वसनीय और सुरक्षित क्लाउड तकनीक का उपयोग करते हुए जटिल चुनौतियों का समाधान करने में मदद कर रहा है.
उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘इसमें एचडीएफसी बैंक, जो परिचालन सुविधा के लिए गूगल क्लाउड का उपयोग कर रही हैं, और शेयरचैट, जो 15 विभिन्न भारतीय भाषाओं में अपने ग्राहकों को बेहतर सेवा देने के लिए गूगल क्लाउड का उपयोग कर रही है, जैसी कंपनियां शामिल हैं.’’
गूगल क्लाउड खुदरा, सीपीजी, स्वास्थ्य देखभाल और जीवन विज्ञान, वित्तीय सेवाओं, संचार सेवा प्रदाताओं, मीडिया और मनोरंजन, गेमिंग, विनिर्माण और औद्योगिक, आपूर्ति श्रृंखला और रसद तथा सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र पर केंद्रित है. भारत में इसके ग्राहकों में एचसीएल, इनमोबी, टीवीएस, डेलीहंट, वूट आदि शामिल हैं.

New Delhi: Netflix is prepping up to launch online games on the over-the-top video streaming platform, as it plans to expand its offering beyond its traditional streaming business.
The OTT giant on Wednesday (June 15) said that the company has hired Facebook vice president of game development Mike Verdu to fuel its ambitions of rolling out video games on its platform.
Verdu will report to Netflix’s Chief Operating Officer Greg Peters. Verdu started his career as an entrepreneur by starting his own defence software company at age 20. In 1990, he sold his company and shifted his team to build video games.
In his previous stints, he has worked at Atari, Electronic Arts, Kabam and other developers and overseeing games including “Lord of the Rings.”
Netflix’s expansion comes at a time when the company is looking at new ways to draw in subscribers in an attempt to stave off fierce competition from the likes of Disney+, Apple TV+ and AT&T`s HBO Max.
Netflix has previously experimented with interactive programming with movies such as “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” and “You vs. Wild” that enabled viewers to decide the characters’ moves.
It has also created games based on shows “Stranger Things” and “La casa de Papel (Money Heist)” and recently launched an online store to sell merchandise related to its TV shows.

The company had received bids for 1,14,92,30,160 shares against 1,23,02,672 shares on offer.
Earlier, Clean Science and Technology on Tuesday raised Rs 464 crore from anchor investors.
In the grey market, the unlisted shares of Clean Science and Technology are commanding a premium of nearly 60 per cent over the issue price. The current GMP is Rs 600-610 per equity share.
Clean Science and Technology manufactures functionally critical specialty chemicals such as performance chemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates, and FMCG chemicals. The Pune-based company’s customers include manufacturers and distributors in India as well as other international markets, including China, Europe, the US, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.
New Delhi: Pictures of actress Kim Sharma holidaying with tennis star Leander Paes are going viral on the internet. The two look much in love in the photos and can be seen enjoying their stay at a resort in Goa.
The pictures were shared on the Instagram handle of the resort. Leander and Kim are colour co-ordinated in white and are all smiles in the picture.
Actor Harshvardhan Rane, who was last seen in Netflix’s Haseen Dilruba commented on his ex-girlfriend Kim Sharma’s viral photos. The actor said that Leander and Kim make for the ‘’hottest couple in town’ but is not aware of Kim’s relationship status.
“I have no knowledge. It would be respectful if confirmed by them, but if true, that’s the hottest couple in town,” the 37 years old actor told ETimes.
Kim and Harshvardhan were in a relationship till 2019. Later, the actor blamed his DNA for his breakup.

सरकार की मांगें पूरी नहीं होने तक जारी रहेगा किसानों का विरोध : राकेश टिकैत
भारतीय किसान यूनियन (बीकेयू) के नेता राकेश टिकैत ने गुरुवार को कहा कि सरकार किसानों की मांगों से सहमत नहीं है, और कहा कि जब तक उनकी मांगें पूरी नहीं हो जाती, तब तक ‘किसान आंदोलन’ जारी रहेगा। टिकैत ने हिंदी में एक ट्वीट में कहा, “एक लोकतांत्रिक देश में सरकार किसानों से सहमत नहीं है, लेकिन जब तक सरकार उनकी मांगें पूरी नहीं करती तब तक आंदोलन जारी रहेगा।”
