India clinched a crucial victory over the West Indies in the third T20I match, keeping their hopes alive in the five-match series, thanks to a sensattional all-round show from the visiting team.

Suryakumar Yadav was the star of the show, hitting a spectacular 83 off just 44 balls. His innings, which included 10 fours and four sixes, came at a critical time when both Indian openers were dismissed early. Yadav’s performance not only steadied the ship but also set the pace for India’s successful chase.

Tilak Varma, on the other hand, played a supportive role, scoring an unbeaten 49. He was content playing second fiddle to Yadav, contributing to their 87-run stand. His steady batting helped India reach the target of 160 runs in just 17.5 overs.

However, the victory was not solely down to the batters. The bowlers also played a significant role in restricting the West Indies to a manageable total. Left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers, claiming three wickets for 28 runs. His performance was instrumental in stemming the flow of runs during the middle overs. Axar Patel and Mukesh Kumar also chipped in with a wicket each, further tightening India’s grip on the match.
