Gunther seems to have made an opening by targeting Priest’s left arm and shoulder. The Ring General is putting in the work by making sure that arm cannot be put to use as the tides shift in favour of the champion.
Both men make their way to the ring. Damien Priest seems to have a smile on his face, a sign of confidence perhaps. The same cannot be said for the champion. Gunther seems to be nervous to start things off.
Next up we have the World Heavyweight Championship match-up where Damien Priest challenges the champion, Gunther for the big prize. The champion finds himself in a precarious position where he needs to find the best version of himself to compete against Priest.
Just when Kaiser looked to find his momentum, the champion delivered a spear and the challenger went out of the ring. Breakker follows it up with another spear on Sheamus to get the win.
Bron Breakker seems to keep fighting on and takes out Ludwig Kaiser. Sheamus however fights back and delivers the Brogue Kick on the champion and goes for the pin. But Kaiser pulls the referee out just in time. Kaiser goes for the knee capper but is unable to get the three count as both men are down on the ground.
The Celtic Warrior finds his mojo as he finds his momentum in the contest. The battle which went outside the ring, was between Ludwig Kaiser and Bron Breakker. But Sheamus cheekily comes up and delivers the Beats Of Bodhran on both men.
Bron Breakker uses his physical prowess to keep both the challengers in check. An impressive start to say the least. He even mocks his opponent by doing a few push-ups in the middle as well.
All the three competitors have made their way to the ring. Ludwig Kaiser looks to step away and let the two big men start things off but it doesn’t go that way for the challenger.
Next up we have the Intercontinental title match where the champion, Bron Breakker takes on Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser. The Celtic Warrior just needs this title to complete the set and become a Grand Slam Champion.
L.A Knight seems to be getting the upper hand as he delivers an elbow drop off the top rope. But Nakamura seemed to have found his momentum with a reverse DDT in the exposed area between the two rings. He then delivers the Kinshasa and we have our first title-change in Vancouver.
So far no one has gone in front for the US title contest. Both men had their fair share of moments. But for now, Nakamura has the upper hand with an elbow strike to take the champion off-guard.
L.A Knight makes his way into the ring. He doesn’t seem as composed as he usually is when he walks in. While making his way into the ring, Knight also drops the US Title on the floor, which is weird, to say the least.
Shinsuke Nakamura makes his entrance. His typical tune but there are elements of the old Wild West theme mixed with the traditional Japanese elements. Nakamura also has a warrior-like ring attire and a sinister look on his face which is not a good sign.
Up next we have the US Title match between the champion L.A Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura. With the mist back in play, it will be interesting to see how the champion steps up to the challenge.
Ripley finds her way back into the contest, takes Morgan up to the top rope and delivers a Rip-Tide through the table and gets the three count to get the victory.
Rhea Ripley looks to go after Liv Morgan and lifts her but Rodriguez who was in the corner pulls her down to make the save. Ripley attacks Rodriguez but the distraction is enough for Morgan to use the chair and deliver a Code-Breaker.
Nia Jax looks to deliver the Annihilator through the table on Belair. But Naomi jumps in for the save and the two powerbomb Jax through the table.
Tiffany Stratton rummages through the trash can and drops a bunch of weapons on the ring but takes out the Money In The Bank Briefcase. Iyo Sky provides a distraction by firing the extinguisher and Rodrigues finds herself cuffed to the turnbuckle.
Team Morgan has the upper hand as Liv uses the baseball bat to her advantage. She has an interesting strategy here as she showcases some handcuffs but is attacked in the process. As the action continues, both Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton make their way to the top of the cage. Sky covers herself with the trash can and goes for a moonsault while Stratton goes for the Swanton Bomb.
The clock winds down and Liv Morgan is the final member to come out. She seems to head towards the backstage area but comes back out with a baseball bat.
Absolute carnage in the ring here as the weapons are being put to full use to take out both Jax and Rodriguez. Belair can be seen using her hair while Ripley uses the toilet seat to deliver some punishment.
Rhea Ripley is the final member of her team to make her way in. She looks to bring a table into the cage but faces resistance from Raquel Rodriguez. Ripley uses the table to her advantage to get Rodriguez off guard.
Raquel Rodriguez is the penultimate member of Team Morgan to make her way in. She makes use of her power to get into the mix. Both Rodriguez and Jax use their power to good use and leave Team Ripley in a precarious position.
Iyo Sky is up next for Team Ripley and she finds a customised trash can and makes her way up the WarGames structure. Candice LeRae also makes her way up from inside. Sky makes her way down with a missile drop kick but is soon attacked by Tiffany Stratton.
Just when Team Morgan is in a bit of a slump, Tiffany Stratton makes her way into the ring with a trash can with the lid. She delivers some punishment to Bayley and combines with Nia Jax for some double-team action.
Bianca Belair is up next for Team Ripley and she begins by tossing a trash can onto Belair. But before she stepped into the ring she tossed in a fire extinguisher and also a table. Naomi steps in to assist her and the latter loos to set it up in the corner. Belair gets a chair as well and the ring is populated with a plethora of items to use.
With the three-minute window up, Tiffany Stratton seemed to be the person to come in for Team Morgan but Candice LeRae side-steps her and makes her way out. Nonetheless, Team Morgan continued dominating with some double-team action.
Naomi looks to make use of the kendo stick but Jax counters and takes it away and hands her punishment with the stick. The champion looks to make use of the toilet seat but Bayley attacks Jax with the kendo stick.
Bayley seems to be copping a lot of punishment and the clock hits the five-minute mark and Naomi is up next. She comes in with a kendo stick and punishes Jax to start things off.
With the clock winding down to the five-minute mark, Bayley looks to keep herself in the match with a fine Hurricanrana to fight back. She also uses part of her ring gear as a weapon but Jax is able to fight back.
Now Bayley looks to start things off on a positive note but Nia Jax uses her size to her advantage and keeps Bayley in check. The good news is that Bayley needs to last for just five minutes and after which, help will come from her team. Crowds chant in support of Bayley.
Nia Jax makes her way in followed by Candice LeRae and Tiffanny Stratton. Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan follow up and it seems like Jax will begin things for Team Morgan.
Rhea Ripley receives a loud pop as she walks in. As expected she has made her own design for her face mask. She heads to her teammates and Bayley seems to be first up to start things off for Team Ripley.
Naomi makes her way followed by Iyo Sky. Bayley follows and interestingly she has yet to win a WarGames match after competing in three matches so far in her career.
And we start things off with the PLE. Sirens go off and the steel cage makes its way down. Bianca Belair’s music hits as she makes her entrance albeit without her tag-team partner Jade Cargill who is out of action.
So it has been confirmed that the Women’s WarGames match will kick things off. Just under 5 minutes left for the event to start. Team Ripley is short by one individual but who will come in to fill that void? It could be Bayley or it could be someone else.
The Bloodline War has been going on for quite some time. But with the return of Paul Heyman and CM Punk’s support for Roman Reigns and Co. It would not be surprising if Solo Sikoa pulls something out of the bag to ensure that his group get the win.
An interesting stat shared by one of the presenters is that no title has changed hands in Vancouver, Canada. Perhaps things could change today.
