Dream XI acquired the Team India jersey lead sponsorship rights from 2023-27, replacing ed-tech firm Byju’s, which was the sponsor from 2019 till March 2023.

The new ODI jersey was designed by Delhi-based designer Aaquib Wani, the Founder & Creative Director at Aaquib Wani Design. His focus on simplicity and comfort has been well received by Indian fans, with the Test jersey selling out on kit sponsor Adidas’s website in just two days. The jersey was first worn by the Indian cricket team on June 1, 2023, marking a significant milestone in Indian cricket history.
