Thane city reports 60 new Covid-19 cases, 52 recoveries | Thane News – Times of India

THANE: Thane city on Thursday reported 60 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall case count to 1,38,209.
Among the new infections, the Majiwada-Manpada ward continued to report maximum cases with 17 people testing positive.
As many as 13 people tested positive in Kalwa, followed by 11 in Vartak Nagar, nine in Naupada-Kopri, four in Wagale, three in Lokmanya-Savarkar, two in Diva, and one in Uthalsar.
No new cases were found in the Mumbra ward.
During the day, 52 people were discharged. So far, 1,35,499 people have recovered in Thane.
The recovery rate is 98.04 per cent and the doubling rate is 1,958.
On a positive note, no new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
At present, 623 people are undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in the lake city.
