Samsung Galaxy Z Bookings: Samsung India claims 100,000 pre-bookings for Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5 – Times of India

South Korea-based tech giant Samsung launched its latest foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 last month. The company has now claimed to have secured record pre-bookings for its fifth-generation foldable devices. Samsung declared that more than 100,000 consumers pre-booked Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 in India in just over a day.

In a press release, the company also noted that pre-bookings for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 were 1.7 times more compared to the fourth-generation foldable lineup (Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4).

Pre-bookings for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 opened on July 27 in India. The devices will go on sale from August 18.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 starts at Rs 99,999 (8GB+256GB), while Galaxy Z Fold 5 is available from Rs 1,54,999 (12GB+256 GB).
Customers pre-booking Galaxy Z Flip 5 will get benefits worth Rs 20,000 and those pre-booking Galaxy Z Fold 5 will get benefits worth Rs 23,000. The Galaxy Z Flip 5’s outer screen is now 3.78 times larger and offers more usability. Galaxy Z Fold 5, also has a large screen that delivers powerful performance in the Galaxy Z series and it is the thinnest, lightest Fold yet.
Both Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are equipped with IPX8 support, aircraft grade Armor Aluminum frames, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 applied to both the Flex Window and back cover. Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 come with a new integrated hinge module that features a dual rail structure for diffusing external impacts.
