Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday recalled the Udaipur beheading case of last year and slammed the Congress-led government of Rajasthan, saying the party only worries about its vote bank.

A tailor in Rajasthan’s Udaipur city in June last year was murdered by two men associated with terror group ISIS who slit the victim’s throat and later posted a video on social media where they claimed that they are avenging an insult to Islam, indirectly referring to the remarks against Prophet made by suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma.

The Prime Minister was addressing a BJP rally in Chittorgarh, where he also held a mega road show amid chants of ‘Modi Modi’. Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia and Union Minister Arjun Meghwal were also present with him.
