NAVI MUMBAI: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Thursday informed that 86 people tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
The overall count in the region has now increased to 1,2,406.
Two people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the overall death count to 1,794.
Also, 104 people were discharged from hospitals after making a recovery. Till date, 90,139 people have recovered.
The active cases in the region now stand at 1,473. Whereas, 415 people are in home isolation.
Among the new cases, 29 people tested positive in Belapur, 18 in Vashi, 12 in Turbhe, 10 in Koparkhairne, seven each in Ghansoli and Airoli and one in Digha.
