Yassine Cheuko, the man hired by the MLS side to ensure the safety of the team’s star man, is a former US Navy Seal and an expert at Mixed Martial Arts.

And when a pitch invader tried to get too close to Messi, Cheuko demonstrated his skillset in a manner that suggested that he was the right man for the job as he sprinted from the touchline to the centre of the field, where Messi was positioned then, and restrained the eager fan.
