Manoj Bajpayee and his wife Shabana spent Rs 31 crore to purchase four offices in Mumbai’s Andheri West.
Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee and his wife Shabana Bajpayee have recently bought four office units in Mumbai. Reportedly, these units are located in Oshiwara neighbourhood with a total carpet area of 7,620 square feet (sqft) and have been purchased by the couple for Rs 32.94 crore.
According to a report by Moneycontrol, the four office units are located on the 12th floor of Oshiwara’s Signature Building, off Veera Desai Road. The purchase was made on October 4, the report added.
According to the documents, The Family Man actor paid Rs 1.86 crore in stamp duty for the four office units.
The four office units have a carpet area of 1,905 sqft each. The total cost of the deal stands at Rs 31.08 crore, or Rs 7.77 crore for each office unit. The seller, Veer Savarkar Projects Private Limited, is offering the four office flats with nine parking spaces. As per Floortap.com, the built-up area of each office unit is 2,099 square feet, and Manoj Bajpayee has paid Rs 30,000 as registration fees for the acquisition of each office unit.
Earlier, Bollywood actress Flora Saini bought an apartment in the Oshiwara micro-market in 2013, the same place where the Bajpayees have now purchased office spaces. However, as the project is still not finished, she has yet to shift to the flat, according to reports.
Several well-known Bollywood actors have signed deals to buy real estate in Mumbai in 2023. Actor Amitabh Bachchan purchased four offices totaling roughly 8,400 square feet in a commercial property in Mumbai’s Andheri for nearly Rs 29 crore.
According to a report by ETReality, Amitabh Bachchan paid stamp duty of Rs 1.72 crore for the registration of the transactions that took place on September 1 this year in order to acquire these offices from real estate developer Veer Savarkar Projects.
Additionally, actors Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan, as well as Sara’s mother Amrita Singh, have also purchased apartments in the tower. Kartik Aryan paid Rs 10 crore for the nearly 2,100 sqft office, while Sara Ali Khan and Amrita Singh bought a similar size space for Rs 9 crore, according to FloorTap.com.
Amitabh Bachchan’s office flats are on the 21st floor of the skyscraper, while Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan’s units are on the fourth floor. Furthermore, actors Ajay Devgan and his wife Kajol had already purchased offices in the same property.
