The Ganpati Dham temple in Bahadurgarh houses the world’s second-largest Lord Ganesha statue, standing at an impressive height of 74 feet.

Ganesh Chaturthi is being enthusiastically celebrated all over the country, including Bahadurgarh, Haryana. At Ganpati Dham, which houses the largest Lord Ganesha idol in Haryana, the temple has been adorned with flowers and colourful balloons as Lord Ganesha graces his seat. The impressive 74-foot-tall Ganesha statue was erected at Ganapati Dham in 2016. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Lord Ganesha has been ceremoniously placed at Ganpati Dham, accompanied by a Havan Yagya and the offering of laddus to Gajanan Ganesh.

The temple’s priest conducted the puja in accordance with the customary rituals. Lord Ganesha will be officially venerated for a continuous period of ten days at Ganpati Dham in Bahadurgarh. Devotees paid their respects in front of the towering Lord Ganesha statue, the remover of obstacles, which graces the Ganpati Dham temple. They adhered to all the prescribed guidelines while worshipping Lord Ganesha and presenting laddus as offerings.

In Hinduism, Lord Ganesha holds a revered status, and there is a tradition of worshipping Him before commencing any auspicious task. The Ganpati Dham temple in Bahadurgarh houses the world’s second-largest Lord Ganesha statue, standing at an impressive height of 74 feet. This remarkable statue was painstakingly crafted by skilled idol makers over a decade.

It’s worth noting that the largest Lord Ganesha statue can be found in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, standing at a towering height of 85 feet. This monumental creation was completed in 2001 at the Chinmaya Sandipanna Ashram.

In Mumbai, the celebration of Lord Ganesha’s festival takes on various forms and sizes. From a playful Bal Ganesha riding a motorcycle near Apna Bazar in Andheri to an impressive 45-foot-tall avatar resembling Lord Indra at Khetwadi 11th Lane in Girgaum, the city boasts a diverse array of Lord Ganesha idols. In total, there are approximately 2.1 lakh idols, each showcasing its unique beauty and creativity, scattered throughout Mumbai during this festive occasion.
