Fujifilm launches GFX100 II mirrorless camera in India – Times of India



Fujifilm India has launched the new Fujifilm GFX100 II camera in India. This camera was unveiled at Broadcast India Show 2023 held in Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The camera is the latest addition to the GFX series of mirrorless digital cameras. The company hasn’t shared any pricing or availability of the camera.

The GFX100 II upholds the legacy of best-in-class professional photography by introducing high-speed performance, upgraded video capabilities, and AI-based subject detection to the growing list of features that professionals have come to rely on.”
Fujifilm GFX100 II camera: Key specs and features
The flagship model features a newly-developed 102MP high-speed image sensor, “GFX 102MP CMOS II HS”, and a high-speed image processing engine, “X-Processor 5″, to deliver up to double the signal readout speed compared to the current model, delivering the highest burst-shooting, AF, and video performance in the history of the GFX series.
The company claims that the GFX100 II boasts superior image quality thanks to its large format sensor. It is the first GFX Series camera equipped with AI-based subject-detection AF, developed with Deep Learning technology, as well as the latest predictive AF algorithm. Hence, the new sensor has significant enhancements in video recording capabilities as well.

GFX100 II is also the first GFX Series camera that supports 8K/30P video and can record 4K/60P 4:2:2 10-bit video internally. Furthermore, it offers the new “Video Format” modes to enable video recording in multiple formats, including

Premista, 35mm, and anamorphic (35mm) with the mount adapter.
The camera body is equipped with an Ethernet port as well as HDMI Type A and USB-C terminals to improve connectivity with external devices for diverse peripheral combinations. Moreover, the latest model marks remarkable improvements in both burst mode performance and stabilisation capability, now reaching an impressive 8.0 frames per second and upgrading to an eight-stop five-axis system, respectively. Additionally, the camera features an ergonomic body design and provides a comfortable shooting experience.
