Mumbai: MahaRera has appealed to promoters/developers of real estate projects to submit applications for registration of their projects well in advance of the intended date for launch of their projects. The regulatory authority often receives requests for expediting registration, especially ahead and during festival season, such as Navratri, Dussehra and Diwali.
“We want developers to submit applications with all prescribed documents on time, if they want to announce housing projects during Navratri, Dussehra or Diwali. Several projects were launched during this period, so we have written a letter to the self-regulatory organisations of the developers regarding this and also uploaded it on MahaRera website,” said a MahaRera official. “Developers cannot advertise, register or sell units unless they have a MahaRera registration number,” added the official. tnn
