Bullet runs on Pune-Nashik highway without a rider | Pune News – Times of India


PUNE: In a bizarre incident, people travelling on the Pune-Nashik highway on Monday evening got to witness a motorcycle speeding on the road without a driver.
The incident took place on August 9 at around 6.30pm.
A Bullet motorcycle fell on the ground after speeding off without a driver for about 300 feet on the highway. The driver of the bike fell off and the bike and drove ahead for about 300 feet on the highway on its own. Then, the bike fell in front of a jeep on the highway.
A pedestrian, Janardhan Dattu Ganjwe (47), a resident of Ganjewadi in Junnar taluka, was seriously injured after being hit by the speeding motorcycle.
A case in this regard will be registered after getting all the information on the accident, informed Prithviraj Tate, assistant police inspector from Narayangaon police station.
